    Get PDF
The last years reflect, in term of macroeconomic development, the continuing advances in market-oriented reforms in the most countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Transition in this economic area includes the restructuring of politic, economic and social systems in accordance with the European Integration Directives and local industry policy, with the movements of the economic environment. Our proposed model tries to define the structure of the basic industry components, the stability degree and the intensity of the measures to be use for restructuring the industrial offer and Romanian regional structure (existing and estimated). This model is design as a link between the Pareto’s model and the Markov’s Chains transitions. The target of industrial policy is to obtain an economic environment that characterizes a stable market economy.industry, sector analysis, regional analysis, structure, Markov chains

By developing production capacities in cooperation with companies from the European Union, Romania’s affordable (cheap) labor, natural resources, commercial facilities could be driven to the technology of the third millennium. Cooperation with regard to marketing and sales is leading to the integration of the Romanian market into the European one, increasing the awareness of market requests and improving negotiation skills. The marketing theory started by questioning if is it science or art and finalized by declaring that ”marketing should be the philosophy of the company approach according with the needs of target market”. The tool for marketing strategies implementation is marketing mix (MMix) by the 4P or 5P. This mix of components offers the possibility of harmonizing the purposes of companies and customers. A new concept of Total Quality (TQ) has been developed and implemented, firstly by the industrial companies and later on by others (even public administration organizations). This approach is an integrative strategic philosophy and behavior, focused on TQ objectives and the adoption of a new managerial style – Total Quality Management (TQM). In our opinion the MMix and TQM are complementary philosophies to approach companies. The paper is an out come of a survey regarding the way the top management perceive MMix and TQM and how they are complementary.Marketing mix, TQM, philosophy, sustainable development

    Get PDF
The success of public and business activities fundamentally depends on the management through decisions. In our opinion, a synchronism between public and business management is a must in order to find proper solutions, especially in crisis time. On the other hand, there should be differences regarding the main components’ importance and the attention paid to them. We consider that illustrative of a future development of integrated mechanisms is to analyze if there is convergence of opinions regarding the role of four main coordinates for the achievement of an effective management: (1) The mission of the institution; (2) The knowledge effects (competence/proficiency); (3) The desired change; (4) The managerial decision basis. The study focused on the six possible connections that can be established between these coordinates, the accumulated junction of the subjects’ opinions pointing out the similarities and differences between the two studied groups (the public and the private environment). The work aims at building up a matrix of contingency and searching for some maximum or minimum zone within the matrix. The conclusion is that in the first instance importance is given to prognosis and ways of responsibility and meantime the diagnose-analysis and systems balancing basically are not taken into consideration. The results point towards the fact that managers are not used with an integrated overview and a systemic approach to the phenomena.public management, business management, confluences, synchronism, matrix

The basic information for computing the quantitative statistical indicators, that characterize the demand of industrial products and services are collected by the national statistics organizations, through a series of statistical surveys (most of them periodical and partial). The source for data we used in the present paper is an statistical investigation organized by the National Institute of Statistics, "Family budgets survey" that allows to collect information regarding the households composition, income, expenditure, consumption and other aspects of population living standard. In 2005, in Romania, a person spent monthly in average 391,2 RON, meaning about 115,1 Euros) for purchasing the consumed food products and beverage, as well as non-foods products, services, investments and other taxes. 23% of this sum was spent for purchasing the consumed food products and beverages, 21.6% of the total sum was spent for purchasing non-food goods and 18,1%  for payment of different services. There is a discrepancy between the different development regions in Romania, regarding total households expenditure composition. For this reason, in the present paper we applied statistical methods for ranking the various development regions in Romania, using the share of householdsí expenditure on categories of products and services as ranking criteria
